What do you think about the government offering money to Alabama for gas masks ?

The gas masks are to be used as a safety gear in order to be distributed to the people who live near an incinerator, which is used to destroy chemical agents in Alabama.What do you think about the government offering money to Alabama for gas masks ?
Without the proper training, the masks are almost useless. We had doctors move, to keep their family's safe. I live about 15 air miles from the incinerator, and my sinus have been awful every since they fired up. May be that I am paranoid about the whole deal. Can't say much, but I will say that the ones responsible for the site location should be made to move down here, some vacant houses less than a mile of the place, they could rent cheap.What do you think about the government offering money to Alabama for gas masks ?
So as usual the government has a short term answer to a long term problem.
That's messed up. The gov't is involved and that's their brilliant idea? The EPA should shut the plant down.
