Neutrogena sunscreen and ';break outs';?

i was planning on buying a sunscreen for the body and one for the face i bought neutrogena dry touch 30spf sunscreen for the body and i was recommended by a loooot of people to use that one for the face too is it good? it says it wong clog the pores so im guessing it should work opinions please





and what does people mean when they say ';break out'; if use this my face will... break out, do you mean pimples? or your skin gets dry? what is it exactly thanks =DNeutrogena sunscreen and ';break outs';?
The reason that some sunscreens can cause breakouts on the face (i.e. pimples, blackheads, etc.) is because not all sunscreens are made in the same way. Some have an oil base, while others have a water base. Sunscreens with an oil base are more likely to cause breakouts because the oil clogs the skin's pores, as versus those with a water base.





Neutrogena sunscreen is well-known for being good to the skin - it doesn't have an oil base and thus won't clog pores. It's not necessary to buy a different kind of sunscreen for your face than your body - it's essentially the same thing, if they both are a water base. I use either Ocean Potion SPF 15 sunscreen or Coppertone Sport SPF 15 Spray Sunscreen, depending on what I'm doing and how often I need to reapply, and both work fine for me without causing breakouts. I use them all over - body and face. Although I wouldn't suggest using spray sunscreen on the face for obvious reasons - you can spray it in your hands and rub it on your face like I do, but it has a strong alcohol base so it feels like getting a shot of liquor to the face. x)

I think if it says it won't clog pores, you're probably safe to use it on your face. I feel safer if I use a sunscreen meant for the face, and since I already have to use a moisurizer, I just use a moisturizer with sunscreen. I use the Neutrogena facial moisurizer for combination skin with 15spf, and I like it. It doesn't cause me to break out. (Break out means get pimples.)
