I can't seem to find the proper word for them!What are those masks/veils that people in the desert wear over their faces to protect them from the sand?
the first answer is wrong. it is not burkas. they are just face masks that are made of metal to cover their mouths and nose from getting dirt in it but they do not have a specific name to them. burka does not protect from dirt or anything else. it is just a cover. also they are cultural not religious. only hijab is part of islam religion.What are those masks/veils that people in the desert wear over their faces to protect them from the sand?
