I was curious. Was there any specific reason for the masks?Why did Michael Jackson put masks on his kids for all those years?
He wanted to shield them from the paparazzi. He didnt want their faces known so they could go out in peace and not be hounded. He wanted to keep them safeWhy did Michael Jackson put masks on his kids for all those years?
He was trying to protect them. Michael was not alone there are other celebrities who don鈥檛 want their kids to be photographed you will find very few photos of Johnny Depp鈥檚 two kids for that reason. Depp has said before that he choice this life but his children did not choice it. JK Rowling even went to court when someone took a photo of her son. MJ was probably one of the most followed celebrities. I found it quite sad in Living with MJ that the press/photography鈥檚 and even fans would not even let this man take his young children to the zoo with out bombarding them with photos and crowding around them Prince who was 6 at the time apparently got poked in the eye.





I think he probably had other safety concerns as well there are crazy people in this world. People that might have tried to do something to the children to hurt Michael or even get ransom money. I think he did at some point get some threating letters in regards to his children. Michael knew what it was like to have to grow up in the lime light and he wanted to protect his kids from that as long as possible. Even more that they weren鈥檛 in the limelight for anything they did but simple because Michael was their father.
It was to protect them from paparazzi and stalkers. If they weren't seen WITH him, then they wouldn't be recognized as his children when they WEREN'T with him.





He said in one of those long interviews that it was a game for them, that they enjoyed it. Of course he said some crazy, contradictory things in those interviews, too, so who knows? But I do think it has been good for them to be sheltered as long as they have. Poor kids.
Michael tried the only way he knew how to let them be normal. To let them have a childhood. He wanted to keep their faces out of the media so that people couldn't talk to them about their daddy, or anything like that. So people would like them for who they are. So people wouldn't dislike them for who their daddy is either.
Becasue people were already talking about doing horrible things to his kids and how he shouldn't have them. He didn't want the public to know who they were. He didn't want them to go through what he did and he wanted them to have a childhood.
The masks were because whenever the children were out and about the paparrazzi would never leave them alone and he wanted to shield them from having their photos sold and plastered all over the world.





But they are BEAUTIFUL children and now I think they can come out with a lot less problem...
He didn't want his kids to get exploited. He did a good job at doing that. Take a look at Jon%26amp;Kate+8, their kids are exploited really badly, its kind of sad. But you have to say, his children are freaking gorgeous.
Well i watched an interview of his and he said he put masks on his kids to prevent the press from finding out who there mothers are
it's one of those weird sex things where you'd have to have the fetish yourself to understand why it's important to put masks on kids.
Yes to keep them from getting photo graphed by the millions and millions of cameras that followed them every day
Some kind of sick sex game most probably!!
