Who are the young middle eastern women who shop in posh London w/ a bodyguard and chaperones w/ gold masks?

They seem very rich. First off, who would those young women be, and secondly, why do their chaperones often wear full golden masks w/ their naqib? It's a little intimidating but I would never dare approach the young woman herself to ask!Who are the young middle eastern women who shop in posh London w/ a bodyguard and chaperones w/ gold masks?
Potential suicide bombers and Islamic terrorists - innocent people have no need to hide their identity!Who are the young middle eastern women who shop in posh London w/ a bodyguard and chaperones w/ gold masks?
Very well off Emirati and Saudi women. More money then sense some of them.

The chaperones were worn by the original bedouin arab women in and around the Gulf area. It's a custom that remains today.

Trust me, they are harmless. I would have no problem approaching them to say hello..but that's probably because I speak Arabic and have a good understanding of their mentaility.
Most of them are either members of one of the Gulf's royal families, or daughters/wives of government officials or wealthy families. The older women wear the golden masks because they are more expensive, and they think more beautiful, than covering their face with cloth.
Gold usually means royalty. The people you see may possibly be of Arabian Royalty - minor members thereof.

The male members of the Royal House of Saud wear gold edging (piping) on the robes.

Here's some pictures of the King of Saudi Arabia - you will notice he has gold edging to his robe(s) also other royals in attendance , princes etc.
