Why do the guys from Hollywood Undead wear masks?

I really like their music. I think they are an edgier Linkin Park. Kind of reminds me a little of Kottonmouth Kings too. So, why do they wear the masks?Why do the guys from Hollywood Undead wear masks?
It's just part of their look lol. They're not trying to be secretive because during the show they take them off. And before the show a few of them came up and talked to me with no mask on. It's just something they wear during like the first 2 or 3 songs of their set.Why do the guys from Hollywood Undead wear masks?
Actually, the answer that you chose as the best is wrong. its not a part of their look recently in an interview, they stated that when they first started the group, they were talking about people they knew and didnt want any trouble. Hollywood undead is like so better than linkon park and they only where masks becouse they are cool like that . They rock Undead is my faverite song Report Abuse

they wanted to hide their identity and so people would listen to their music for the songs not what they look like. they thought the designs they put on their masks could represent them and it was also for fun.
That's a good questions. I think it them trying to be mysterious because even in there music videos, you never see their faces.

I think they wear masks so theat people do not recognize them when they are out in public................that way they can have a private life too......
